Splitter isn't moving my windows

Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility and make sure Splitter is switched on. If it already is, switch it off and on again, then quit and reopen Splitter. Also check that Splitter isn't paused (⌃⌥P, or the menu bar icon).

Hovering a tab doesn't show a preview

Previews need the Screen Recording permission. Turn it on in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen & System Audio Recording, then choose Restart Splitter in Settings › General. Without it, tabs still work; they just show the app's icon.

Windows jump around or snap back by themselves

Stage Manager and macOS's own edge tiling rearrange windows too. In System Settings › Desktop & Dock, turn off Stage Manager and “Drag windows to screen edges to tile”.

How do I resize, add or remove displays?

Press ⌃⌥D. Drag any divider to resize. Squeeze a display below 10% to remove it, or drag in from the edge of the screen to add one (up to four).

I bought Splitter on another Mac

Open Splitter's Settings and choose Restore Purchase, signed in with the same Apple ID. The unlock works on every Mac that uses your Apple ID.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and choose Splitter.

How do I uninstall Splitter?

Quit Splitter from its menu bar icon, then drag it from Applications to the Bin. Your windows stay where they are.
